OK, I've been a bit lazy about putting up one of my DJ sets from Delilah's....wait, it was not laziness! I have DJ'd the last Thursday of the month there for the past 11 years, but I don't do Thanksgiving or Christmas / New Years Eve! I spend that time with my daughter!!! This 80 minute mix is about 95% fun little private press 7" singles from the 80's. Didn't even bring out a familiar 2 TONE nugget the whole time, just stayed with the ones "that missed the big time". More fun that way! On Wednesday - March 3, 2010 I will be spinning only 80's ska for 6+ hours at THE LATE BAR here in Chicago the awesome new spot opened by Chicago new wave DJ pioneer DAVE ROBERTS who created a culture icon here in Chicago with his PLANET EARTH events.
